However, losing weight rapidly is not usually a good idea. If you are not eating a balanced diet, you could might suffer from a deficiency disease. Plus, short-term, rapid weight loss usually doesn't last. Yo-yo dieting just does not work well in the long run.

Instead of being obsessed with losing weight fast, focus on improving the quality of your diet and increasing your amount of physical activity. In order to do this you will need to learn about healthy eating, new recipes, and new foods. This can be extremely rewarding and enjoyable. You can also explore and try new sports, games and recreational activities to increase the amount of physical activity.

So why not forgot about "losing weight fast" and instead set goals to make positive changes in your eating, exercise and lifestyle habits? You will look better, feel healthier, and if your body really needs it, you will even lose weight!
